Cauldwell Wingate is one of the oldest construction companies in New York City. We are client-service oriented, experienced and have both the technical expertise and know-how to build high quality and complex construction projects.
We provide pre-construction, construction management, and general contracting services for new buildings, renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and interior fit-outs. We build across a broad range of markets, including high-rise residential, workplace and high-end corporate interiors, healthcare, education, cultural institutions, government, and historic preservation. Building in New York since 1910 — from one of the nation’s leading art museums, The Frick Collection, to Brooklyn’s iconic Central Library, and Saks Fifth Avenue’s grand flagship store — Cauldwell Wingate has built many of New York’s landmarks.
Cauldwell Wingate continues to build an enduring legacy. In recent years:
- We built Brooklyn’s tallest tower, 388 Bridge Street.
- We collaborated with our client, LearningSpring School, and a forward-thinking design team, to build the first school in New York State to achieve LEED® for Schools Gold Certification.
- Our restoration of the Thurgood Marshall U.S. Courthouse won The New York Landmarks Conservancy Chairman’s Award.
- We partnered with Montefiore Medical Center to build their new Hutchinson Campus Ambulatory Care Center in the Bronx, a “hospital without beds,” and one of the New York metropolitan region’s largest ambulatory care centers.
